Celebrities and Their Pets
We are all animal lovers here, that was a given. But people sometimes forget that a famous person, be it a singer, actor, or both, or others can be just as big of a cat lady, dog or animal lover as you and me.
To help you remember this, and to make your day that much more adorable and fill it with “awwee”s” and “aaa’s, I’ve put together a list of celebrity pets photos!
Attention! You can come back anytime to see these celebrity pets and make your day that much cuter!
After all, you get both some of your favorite movie stars and singers/songwriters and their very much adorable floff ball or very serious fur friends.
Without further ado, here are 20+ celebrities being great pet owners!
(In no particular order)
1. Robert Downey Jr.
RDJ is a total cat lover. Reportedly, although initially reluctant about adopting a pet, everything changed after he rescued two adorable kittens. Now, the Iron Man has a soft spot and can’t imagine life without them.
2. Chris Hemsworth
Here comes the God of Thunder himself! Chris Hemsworth and the lovely Elsa Pataky already have a dog but have also fostered various other animals throughout the years.
3. Liam Hemsworth
Chris is not the only Hemsworth brother to have and show a love for pets.
The youngest of the three famous Australian brothers has no more, no less than seven dogs with Miley Cyrus.
The married couple have 16 pets in total, including three cats and two pigs.
4. Miley Cyrus
As you can tell from above, the American singer/songwriter/actress is a huge animal lover. She doesn’t shy away from showing it either as she often posts cute pics of one or more of her many pets.
5. Amanda Seyfried
This golden-haired actress is another big animal lover that has also been bringing her beloved doggo to movie premiers too.
You might think of her as only a dog lover, but Amanda also posted some great pics of her with a cat on her head (she fostered three cute kittens at one point).
6. John Krasinski
Yet another all dog, all animals lover, John Krasinksi and his wife, Emily Blunt, grew their family by adopting a Red Fox Labrador named Finn. He’s been in the family for several years now, and they sure look happy together.
7. Chrissy Teigen & John Legend
Another celebrity couple that loves animals. This power couple has not one but three fur babies. There’s Pippa the Frenchie, Puddy the Bulldog, and Penny, a three-legged Frenchie.
8. Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper is such a big dog lover, that he also brought his dog to co-act alongside him. The actor/singer brought his labradoodle Charlie to act alongside him and Lady Gaga in 2018’s A Star is Born.
9. Hugh Jackman
When he’s not acting and singing or saving people, you can spot the star walking his two dogs.
The Wolverine has two dogs, a French bulldog named Dali and a poodle terrier mix called Allegra.
They are even wearing dog boots in this shot, adorable and safe!
10. Ryan Gosling
10/10. Above, feast your eyes on Ryan Gosling leisurely walking his best friend, George.
11. Emma Stone
Gosling’s co-star, Emma Stone, is a huge animal lover and activist. Back in 2012, Emma and her then-lover, Andrew Garfield, adopted a Golden Retriever called Ren.
More recently, the actress joined Stephen Colbert in the “Rescue Dog Rescue” segment to showcase and help find new homes for pups that were rescued during Hurricane Florence.
12. Tom Hiddleston
He might play the God of Mischief, but there’s only love when we’re talking about his dog. The British actor was all smiles while walking his dog in London in late 2018.
13. Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding doesn’t shy away from delighting us with adorable selfies and pics of her and her cats. The singer has three cats: two Bengal males named Topcatsuk Royal Wallace (Wallace, for short) and Lennon.
There’s also Eve and several pets as well, including a bug-eyed chameleon. Her celebrity pets have their own Wiki pages, hehe!
14. Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood loves her cat Nicodemus so much, that she doesn’t shy away from traveling with him and even bringing him to premiers.
15. Taylor Swift
I can’t get enough of cats, and apparently, neither can Taylor Swift. She loves posting pics of her two Scottish fold cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson.
Her two celebrity pets have gained quite the reputation and fame. Besides them, Tay also had two Dobermans and two Siamese-Tabby mixes in the family.
16. Ed Sheeran
Taylor Swift’s best bud, Ed Sheeran, is a pet lover too. The famous redhead adopted Graham, at the time a one-month-old kitten.
He’s since adopted a second kitty, and the well-known animal lover and rescuer even set up social media pages for them (totally following them). These celebrity pets have quite the following already.
17. Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas is all about sharing tales about his beloved dogs. In a “My Pet Tale” episode, he even went to reveal how one of the doggos he shares with his now-wife, Sophie Turner, got his name.
We’re talking about Porky, brother of Waldo – both are Alaskan Klee Kai pups. Joe Jonas also briefly had (has?) a blue-eyed Bulldog named Winston.
18. Ian Somerhalder
Another pair of blue eyes, but this time, they belong to Ian Somerhalder. The actor and Nikki Reed, his actress wife, have no fewer than nine pets.
The couple declared they want to raise their daughter surrounded by pets and very varied ones at that as they have cats, dogs, and also horses.
19. Gerald Butler
Another proud dog dad! Above, you can see the actor snuggling Lolita, his dear pet.
She also has a sister now, as Butler adopted another dog that he named Shuska. This name pup was adopted from Bulgaria, as the actor filmed a movie there.
20. Rose Byrne
I’m ending this post (for now) with a heart-warming image of Rose Byrne and a kitty. Not sure which photo makes we have heart eyes more: this one, or her entire performance in Peter Rabbit.
Sooo, what’s your favorite photo of a celeb being adorable with his or her pet (or pets).
Feel more than welcome to share it here! Share even your favorite photos of you and your pet if you feel like it! 😄
