I am a professional pet blogger/freelance writer who resides in Michigan. I am the proud “Mom” of a Shetland Sheepdog named Dakota, and a silver-gray tabby named Cody. I began blogging in 2009 as a form of “reinvention” after falling victim to company downsizing. Prior to the company downsizing, I was employed for over 20 years in the newspaper advertising industry.
Along with having a passion for pets, I am passionate about food (both consuming it, preparing it, and photographing it!), sports, (particularly swimming, football, baseball, watching figure skating, gymnastics), music, art, (I have some drawing talent) and more!
